L'Écho des Plantes

A research-creation project in which high school students co-create a mini-opera inspired by plant signals turned into musical soundscapes. Students take part in the whole process, writing, music, and staging, and bring their concerns and hopes about the environment into the work.

The living sonic environment made from plant signals shapes the narrative, which takes up solastalgia, the bond between humans and plants, and the beauty of nature. The project explores lyric art and bio-responsive technology as levers for wellbeing, social engagement, and resilience.
