Neural activity morphing digital entities, humans and ecosystems as kin.
2024 · OHBM BrainArt, Seoul · with Mar Estarellas
An immersive artwork on the interdependence of humans and the natural world, made with neuroscientific tools, mathematical models, and digital art. Inspired by ecotones, the zones where distinct ecosystems meet, it shows identities, perceptions, and environments continuously reshaping one another.
Participants’ neural activity guides the morphing of digital entities, a living metaphor that treats humans and ecosystems as kin.
Shown at the OHBM BrainArt Exhibit in Seoul in 2024 and awarded an Honorable Mention by Art of Neuroscience. Also presented as Latent Ecologies of the Mind.
